The Jr. Club

by Helena Claire F. Arong
Center Coordinator

Just like the Boys' and Girls' Club, the younger ones have their own club too. The Jr. Boys' and Girls' Club are composed of 7 to 12 years old children living in the community. The club is formed to encourage children a healthy attitude, a venue for their development – learning new things, developing skills and a place for them to meet new friends and have an experience of getting involve with the community.

The Jr. Club meets regularly every Sunday afternoon, aside from the Academic Enhancement Program they also have activities like crafts–making, games and art session to which they enjoy very much. Despite their young age they too volunteer on some community–based activities like the clean and green campaign and regularly help clean the community plaza.
