2017 VFV MEDICAL MISSION

As we continue our yearly tradition of service to the community, we will once again hold a medical mission. This year marks our 17th Annual Medical Mission to be held at MacArthur, Leyte, Philippines.

MacArthur is a fifth class municipality with 31 villages or barangays and a total population of 19,893. It is approximately worth an hour’s drive from the city of Tacloban, towards the south.

A total of 350 patients are expected be served on the 26th of April 2017. Our target is to circumcise 175 young boys and provide dental services to another 175 patients. These services are 100% free and patients will be provided with medication.

We will invite doctors, dentists, nurses, dental aides, and local and foreign volunteers to comprise the medical team. The VFV team will take charge in making all the necessary preparations for yet another meaningful community service.

We are calling on You, yes You, to support this event. For more information on how to get involved, please contact us at vfv.info@visayans.org or ester.costim@visayans.org.
