Sharing the love at Christmas! It’s a yearly tradition! Volunteer for the Visayans (VFV) shares and spreads the love at Christmas. We give gifts to communities in and around Tacloban and Ormoc. We give gift to children, women, adolescent boys and girls.
This sharing the love at Christmas event is called Gift Giving. The VFV staff and volunteers will visit the different placements on December 12-13, 2016.
We would like to share the love and bring joy to street children, orphans and neglected children, youth boys and girls, and disadvantaged women.
We usually give toys, diapers, and clothes. This year we have decided to include hygiene kits because we not only believe in charity but also practicality.
The hygiene kits will be useful to our recipients. to the street children, youth boys and girls, and disadvantaged women. Each hygiene kit contains deodorant, alcohol, shampoo, bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, Q-tip, sanitary pad, comb, and blouse/shirt.
Christmas is just around the corner. Soon it will time for our Gift-Giving. We have started collecting the items for the hygiene kits. We need a total of 175 kits. We haven’t reached half of the target yet. If you or your friends would like to help us out, you may contact us at ester.costim@visayans.org. Your generosity will make a difference this season of giving and sharing.
